We would be delighted to welcome you to our new, modern, sunny apartment having its own terraces and garden located in a wonderful neighborhood in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Excellent views of the ski slopes: World Cup, Kaiserburg, Strohsack and the majestic FIS K70. The Römerbad and St. Kathrein thermal baths are 1 and 2 kms, the free ski bus is 100 m, the free Kaiserburgbahn parking is 2 minutes away. We are on the sunny side of the Alps in the lovely, unique Nockberge Biospherenpark, the Alpe-Adria Trail is at our doorstep.

The House and its surroundings

Residence Alba Montis enjoys a scenic location close to the center of Bad Kleinkirchheim 2 min from the ski area offering 103 kilometers of pistes, 24 lift facilities, 800 snow cannons covering 97 percent of the pistes with guaranteed snow. There is hardly another winter sports centre in the world that combines its realm of ski and snow with its spa temples in a more unique way than this well-being haven in the Carinthian Nock Mountains. The town’s own slogan says it all: "From the pistes into the spas”.

We are 17 min. from Turracher Höhe a beautiful ski resort with 42 km of pistes between Carinthia and Styria, high up in the Nock mountain range. Here, guests can revel in high-altitude winter sports thanks to the cable cars and slopes located at up to 2,205 metres. The resort is also known for its attention to detail in terms of extra-skiing activities – from the cosy, warm “living room” in the Kornock cable car valley station, the generous scattering of welcoming sun loungers and the Turracher slopes butlers, who are always on hand to fulfill guests’ every need up on the ski slopes.

A cosy, relaxing home away from home for your family. Residence Alba Montis offers free, secure, private, covered parking and accommodations with boasting mountain views, garden and a terrace. The apartment is located on the ground floor and has two bedrooms, a living room with flat-screen smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave, and it also has a bathroom with a shower. Children of all ages are welcome and kids under 10 years of age stay free. Crib is available by request and is free of charge. Spoken languages include German, English, Hungarian, Dutch and French.

The views

Sit back and relax, reconnect with nature, from your couch. Enjoy the view of the cascading water of a small alpine creek right in front of the house, alpine meadows and pine forests in the background with old farmhouses and watermills and the dome-shaped 2000er peaks in the heart of the UNESCO Nockberge Biosphere Park. Or turn your head a bit and look at all the 24/7 busy pistes, the Kaiserburgbahn gondola and the Kaiserburg Bob alpine roller coaster or be amazed by our heroes of the night how the dance of our pistenbully team illuminates the mountain. Still on the couch and still bored, fancy of a different stream, well... there is the remote somewhere near.

Due to the location on the hillside with its approach to the south, you have a lot of sun and a great view - not only from the terrace, but also from the large couch in the living area, on which you can also lounge wonderfully with the whole family. The apartment is very nicely furnished. We especially liked the well-equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The landlords are very accommodating and friendly. We can highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back! Tip: The Kärnten Card can save a lot of money!

Everything was perfect! Extremely courteous, friendly hosts who have furnished the wonderful Apartment with a lot of love and taste. The kitchen is very, very well-equipped and generously laid out! You immediately feel at home, everything is comfortable, clean and designed to make you feel comfortable. Wonderful views. The place is fabulous. There is a stunning view on the hill with the slopes from the apartment. The apartment is beautiful place, we felt like home the first minute, it is equiped above the expectations. I didn't neeed anything for the whole week. And the owner, lady Adrienn is absolutely lovely, she makes sure you have all you need. She gave us useful information about the area. This is the first place where I could imagine to come back again. And having a glass of wine in the t-shirt after all day skiing on sunny terace that's something I will remember forever. To have balanced rating there should be somethig negative as well, I was trying to find something for a week and couldn't. It was all perfect.

Great apartment in a small town located within the Nockberge National Park. The view from the apartment is beautiful. A small stream flows near the house. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and has a large and comfortable kitchen. The hosts are very friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed and gave good advice for trips. The Carinthia card given by them turn out to be very useful . We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and will happily return again!

This appartement is the most frendliest, cosy, and homey I have ever been. Thr panoramic view from the livibg room is splandid. The Carintia card (https://www.kaerntencard.at/sommer/en/) is included, so you can select among 100 excellent programs, destinations, like boat trip, geltcher tour.

This is a perfect location for a Holiday. The owners put lot of efforts to this place into the best apparment in Carinthia, so I do not have anything to suggest what could be improved.

We had a very nice week with this lovely couple. The apartment was brand new and super clean and very cozy. We immediately felt at home and our children played wonderfully in the garden. It was perfect holidays. The location is outstanding, you wake up, open your eyes, and see the mountains just outside of the window. The views are breathtaking, and - contrary to the surrounding resorts - it's also very peaceful and relaxing. You hear no noise or cars, just the little mountain stream which is right next to the property. We had wonderful rest. The house is very comfortable, you get a lovely terrace and access to the garden, which we used a lot (child). The kitchen was equipped above expectations. The hosts were beyond kind, they were very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed- and more than that!
